Wrong MPEM ... crap!

Started looking into why my 03 XP DI threw codes for both TPS and figured out that the MPEM is the wrong one!!! It has a part number of 278001441 where I need 278001895 I believe. The 1441 is for a 2000 RX DI & GTX DI. Anyone know where I could get the 278001895 for less than $900???

Will look at the wiring diagrams tonight and try to see if I can just repin the connections. The other thing that I'm worried about is that I'm sure the fuel map is a bit different as well. Anyone have experience with this??

Yup Seadoo had to meet EPA regulations for 2002, and so the entire system is different. Cylinders, air and fuel injectors, and MPEM.


I will have one of those MPEMs in next week.

post a WTB here an on pwctoday, you might get a response with a favorable price.
and the listings on ebay, IMO are crazy high, i'd email the two that have them for sale and see what they'd take for a best offer. Personally I'd part the ski out before I paid $1,000 for a MPEM. that seems crazy.

You got that right Tim...He contacted me regarding the MPEM and offered him the one I'm getting for considerably less than a $1000.
