well miami, i was thinkin, if you cant get this thing to go, you probably ARE better off just buying like a GOOD USED GUARANTEED carb off ebay or something for probably less than $100...you gotta realize sometimes that the time and effort and energy you're expending on this thing is not worth just getting another one...let us know whats going on..and post some pickies

yea i am going to try the pump body you sent and if that doesn't work im just kinda buy a new pump body for $69 new..and a rebuild kit and start all over again.....I'LL GET THIS THING RUNNING IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH AND THANKS FOR YOUR HELP REALLY APPRECIATE IT..

and my phone broke so until the new one arrives no pics sorry.

Don't worry about it.
Its a two stroke. It will smoke bad too. :)

Did you block off oil pump? Are you pre mixing now?
Old engine leaks oil through seals esp if been sitting.
Once its operating you should see it less.....

First pic looks like oil was just poured :(
Mine left stain on driveway from when I flushed it. Water was coming out had black color to it.
Pic above looks a little different though.

Yes it turns and trys to run with full acceleration. when it started at home only started when I open gas all the way and then it would run fine. until I got to the water.

MB send carbs out for rebuild cost you over 100 bucks.
Something isn't right in there.

What I don't understand is what happens in the water.
Out of the water there is no load on pump and it starts, runs and idles?? .
So if it doesn't start in the water something is preventing it.

Can or does it start if you get it to start??

first of all miami boy, that BLACK oil comes out like that when the motor is FLOODED WITH WATER...
my motor flooded THREE times, flooded to the gills, and EVERY TIME, once i got it started, it spit TONS of that $hit out of the exhaust for about 5-10 minutes to get it all out (on the hose, of course, DO NOT put that ski in the water like that)
so, whether you realized it or not, your ski took on water at some point, and i can almost guarantee that was the root of your problems...
you NEED TO FOG THAT ENGINE AND DO A COMPRESSION TEST...
bc you just stated that you started it at home 50 times...
if that motor was started with that water in it, that means that waters been sitting in the motor all that time while the carbs were off...
if you wanna get that thing started,
GO BUY FOGGING OIL, about THREE SETS OF SPARK PLUGS, and MAKE SURE you have a fully charged battery on hand, and do not crank for more than ten seconds at a time..
and you NEED to do a compression test...
if there was any damage done to that motor bc of flooding, and the psi is under spec, it WILL start out of water, and NOT run in water AT ALL...
so please, first things first, for $hits and giggles...take your plugs out, ground the plug caps to the posts, and since you've already cranked it like it is, just tap the start button for a second or two and tell me if water/oil shoots out the cylinders...
if so, or either way, go to advanced auto, buy stabil fogging oil spray, for like three bucks, BUY A COMPRESSION TEST KIT for $25.99, and buy about three sets of sparkplugs..youre gonna need em..
when you get home, fog that motor for a few seconds, then tap the starter button in 3-5 second intervals, getting all the water out...
then fog it again, put a set of plugs in,,, try starting for a few seconds..take the plugs out, clean em, put em back in and try...
if no go, then put a new set of plugs in and repeat...

This is all based on water being in your motor....
yea, its quick n simple, take the plugs out quick and tap the starter.im dyin to know if theres water in that motor...
good luck mang!
