wont start

just bought a 1999 gtx will not run. unless i spray gas in carb will fire up. the guy told me it ran fine till he winterized it. went to start it and never would fire up. i spray gas in carb fires up.

Check the square O-ring in the fuel separator/filter under the consul. Usually when
that leaks the fuel pump is sucking air in instead of fuel from the tank. Because the
system pressurizes a small bit, it routes if you've primed & started the engine. HTH
