wires crossed, please help

96 seadoo xp. i flooded my xp the other day and thought i had all the water out of it. let it sit a few weeks and tried to start it and got no spark. i found the black box next to the battery, the one that contains the ignition coil, was full of water. as i was cleaning the corroded wires, i found one bolt with 4 wires attached. i did NOT pay attention to how the wires were attached, i think one of them is supposed to be spaced from the others but not sure. now when i hook the battery up, i get an electrical smoke coming from somewhere. i believe it is these 4 wires not being hooked up properly. i need to know what order/how they need to be on this bolt...PLEASE HELP. THANKS
