Hi just got this 99 speedster and one motor runs fine the other wouldnt start when I first when I got it. Found out that the block was full of fuel by pulling the plugs and running the starter. Lots of fuel came out. Finally got it started it just poured oil and crap out the exhaust while running idled quite fast. I tried to give it throttle but it would not pick up any rpm's. Shut it off now it wont restart... Going to buy some new plugs today. Any ideas...

That probably wasn't fuel. It was probably, mostly water.

Regardless... take the carbs off, and clean them. Also check the fuel select valve to make sure it's clear.

I can not find the fuel select valve... It's a 1999 787 speedster. I will pull carb's off. Compression showed 140# on both cyl's.

got one carb apart it is full of rust. Think I may have found my problem.... Had to drill out a screw :( now I'll have to wait for another...
