Thanks for the info. I'm thinking of it. I also would like to do some diff. handle bars but you can get some money in the start stop holder and what not.

yes, i'm going to be using a 96 sp hood in my build.

when using single gauge hood do you guys just do away with the trim gauge and speed gauge?

Yes, they're not really necessary. I just use the fuel and oil gauge on my spx. I might put a multi-gauge in next year, like yours has.

If you really wanted too, you could drill a hole in the fiber glass next to the DESS post and install the speedo there, but i'd install a tach before a speedo.

I have the tach installed there now (by the dess post). I think I will just use the multi-gauge in the hood and do away with the trim gauge since i think thats a feel thing anyways. Any ideas on handle bars?

Man they sure went up in price over the years. I paid for the whole set-up (stem, bars, start/stop/vts housing, brand new finger throttle and grips) for 375.00 shipped
