Where to get gas strut lift for engine compartment

Hopefully somebody out there knows where I can get one. The left gas lift for the engine compartment rusted out and snapped right where it attached to the boat. On the parts page above they want $83!!! I tried cross referencing it to no avail so far. The lift reads it is a GS 8070, 70# lift. Anybody knows where I could get one cheaper would be great! Thanks..

i got new ones at pep boys. They are few pounds more pressure but perfect length, fit great, and the differance in lift/pull is not noticeable.

Bring an old one and go to Auto Zone...match it up for cheap.
