What type of paint to use?

I am having to repaint my nozzle jet pump due to corrosion. I am sanding it and want to paint it the original black. Do I need to use a marine grade paint (that's what I am thinking)?

I used brake caliper paint I fig if it lasts behind a tire it would be ok behind a ski

the nozzle is R&D 83mm stock steering nozzle with a ton of grinding to make it steer fully in all trim positions
