What seadoo is this?

Just bought this and don't know too much about it 2002 800cc

What model is it and what should I look out for or check over on this?

It's not an 02 it's a 96 xp. If the photo bucket I saw is right. Black and yellow ski?

Pop the seat, take some pics. That's not a 96 xp hood. Only 2 gauges

see the sticker on the back of the hull, on the bottom deck? the last two digits are the year.

It has a round choke knob I'll say it's a 98 or 99. But more than likely a 98

Cheers guys when I get home will check the vin. Is there anything I need to keep an eye out on these forgery new to this so any maintainace advice would be great

Racer has it right with 98. Earlier models would have the exhaust outlet facing the reaer and not the pump.

The dead give away is the exhaust outlet faces the pump...

Pop the seat and post pictures. It looks like it has a race badge under the steering. It might have some nice a/m goodies

I paid $1500 aus with trailer full runner with documents etc, guy couldn't take it too his next place..

Yeh mate that's the one needs rego, pretty new to all this so going to have to do done ready up and see what the go is and give the ski the once over before heading anywhere near the water with it
