so i just got 2 seadoo xps a while back and wondering what kinda oil is okay to use, i am not very close to a seadoo place, but i seen at my local sporting store they have penzoil 2 stroke oil mix that is 100 percent synthetic as well, would that be okay to use?

idk if it maters but it will be going in the 787 motor

Taken from another thread:

High quality low ash API TC injection oil for 2-stroke engines

Avoid: 4-stroke petroleum, synthetic motor oil, NMMA TC-W, TC-W2 or TC-W3 outboard motor oil. Also try not to ever mix oils, as it can cause some chemical reactions.

I bought my ski last year, and only topped the tank off once. This year I'm going to go ahead and drain it, and put fresh in as to not mix any oil.

thanks!
thanks for the link man i read it up and get it alll now i am going to see if my walmart has the quicksilver

Right now I'm going to be using the Pennzoil listed in the chart in purple_people_eater's post. It's the easiest for me to find quickly in the area I live.

I found my quicksilver oil at gander mountain. You can order online from them also. My local wal mart didnt carry it. Good luck.

Since your new engine, a 787, has rave valves, you should go with either a synthetic blend or a full synthetic, API TC.
