What's the purpose of the white spacer looking thing that's bolted to the right side of the ride plate? And is there supposed to be a matching one on the left?

There are many things in the picture, what are you referring to?

The item on the ride plate? If so, it is a zinc I believe.

It's the white washer/spacer thing on the right side of the ride plate. Closest to the back of the hull. Doesn't have a matching one on the left side

It is a sacraficail zinc to help corrosion due to salt water applications.

It is suppose to breakdown and take the abuse so your metal components don't.

Don't paint it and do not separate it from the plate with a rubber washer for example. It NEEDS to be touching the plate for it to do its job.

Ah ok makes sense. So it is just the one or is there a matching one on the other side I'm missing?
