What is this piece?

Can anyone tell me where this piece goes and what it does? It was by the jet pump on my seadoo gtx 260 2014

Do not ride your machine until you deal with this! It is a washer that sits between your pump and hull. It must be there, and suggests that your pump is not fixed to the hull properly.

If everything is where it is supposed to be, then it could be that the mechanic lost it during assembly.

If you found that piece it's because it fell off the pump prior to mounting. It's a reducer.....reduces flow to cooling/exhaust system.
