My opinion is the best ever ski is either that 01 XPL with the S/C 4tec, or the 951 powered HX. I like to go fast, jump waves and be in control of a mini-rocket ship. I love the handling, air time and maneuverability of the smaller skis, but not quite up to riding the stand-ups. Man, I'd pay to ride those...

Give the T3 hull a spin then. Bigger ski than the XP or HX but just as maneuverable and way more power and acceleration. I have some seat time in both XP and the new RXPX and they're worlds apart when it comes to performance.

I agree the 951 hx for sure or a 951 x4 nothing compares. And I'm sorry but no way a new ski is as maneuverable as the older small skis I've ridden both and found my 951 hx is flickable and the big new skis are not

Flick able? No, they're definitely not that but if you factor in handling acceleration and stability, the newer skis blow the old ones out of the water. That gap gets even wider when you factor in rough riding conditions. To me that makes it a better package. They did however lose a little bit of the fun factor the older ones had.

I dont know i guess it's all in opinion considering my hx almost does 70 and gets there faster than a stock rxpx.

LOL HOLY S***, I can only imagine 70 on an HX  How much fuel does it hold and how long does it last you? Doesn't sound like day cruises are an option :)
