What are these?!

I noticed these on my ski the other day and I can't figure out what they are for. One is a blue and the other is orange. They look like ports of some kind. If someone can help me out that would be great!

I'm pretty sure they're vents, one is the vent for the gas tank, the other for the battery. If you use a sealed battery you won't use the second vent.

couldn't help but notice you're in Okinawa...... I lived there in Awase Meadows (above White Beach) as a kid in '64 and '65. Would love to see what the island looks like now.....
