I own 4 two stroke seadoo’s, I have replaced many of the 2 stroke wear rings no problem. I have a buddy of mine that wants some work done on his 2004 RXP. Broken steering cable and wear ring is shot. Any differences to the 4-tec wear ring replacement? It looks like It’s got closed loop cooling so no cooling lines to remove? I see it has VTS and reverse, seems like nothing different just another thing to disconnect.
How’s the steering cable replacement on this? I haven’t been able to unbolt the upper part of the ski yet but I’m assuming it will be a lot easier once that is removed?
