water inlet hose clamp - need information

Hi! I've been having some issues with my ski, and I'm afraid to go out on the water without a water inlet hose clamp in the case that I need a tow. Can someone tell me exactly what to clamp and what to buy from autoparts store?

Might need something stronger than that. I guess it all depends on the size and thickness of your hose. You wanna get a good pinch on it, and imo, not sure if that thing will get the job done. check your hose size and thickness and match it up the specs that that thing gives. AT LEAST try it out first before you go on the water to make sure it works.

Can you take a look at this picture and tell me which hose is the watet inlet?

Definitely one of the two on the right hand side. It could be the one with the T fitting on it or the one right next to it (with no T fitting). On my ski, I don't think there is a T fitting on this line, so my best guestimate is the line without the T fitting. Maybe someone with the same model as you could chime in and identify it for ya

I was thinking its the thick short hose coming into the back of the engine in the middle of the picture?

Could be...It should be a thicker rubber hose like the ones I was talking about before. Does your ski have open or closed cooling?
