Water in when resting in water.

2009 255is GTx.

Had carbon seal replaced, thought that would fix leak.

Left in water floating for an hour and still taking on water. Took on fair amount.

Ideas on where to look? How to find it?

I have out of water and will fill tomorrow with water and evaluate if water leaks out. Hoping for a few idea on root cause…

There aren't many places for it to leak. Sponsons, carbon seal area, drain plugs, exhaust, and pump.

Thanks, will look at the spots you mention. Ready to take the water test on.

Looked like the hose inlet was draining a bit of water from it, will check also.

Put it on a trailer and put an amount of water in it to see if you can find where it’s leaking out of? I did that to one and found it.
