Got water in my rear cylinder. I know because the spark plug was pulled out w/water on it!
how does water survive a 7,000 RPM combustion?! thats 116 sparks PER SECOND.
anyway, i pulled the rave slider out and it's covered in grey watery oily goo
i found WD-40 cuts it pretty well, so I took off the air box, RAVEs, plugs, etc, and have tried cleaning everything out
front read 120 compression, rear reads 110ish, but that's before I cleaned it all up.
can I remove the head w/out buying a new gasket, or should I just leave it on?
the RAVE airlines also all had grey watery gunk in them, i blew them out w/WD-40 and my mouth... good times.
i will pull the RAVE line below the engine and hope to clear all that out (even more fun).
I cleaned the bailers and the bildge pump all out. I ride HARD and this is the first time I've sucked this much water in it...
what else can I do?
just get it on the water hopefully wed night, then ride it gently for a few hours... to burn off any lasting water?
