I am going to describe this the best I can. I don't have the boat near me to take pictures.
I have a 1995 Seadoo Sporster and the mechanism that I hook my freshwater hose for flushing the motor is squirting water out when I am riding in the lake.
The water that is shot up is hitting the back engine hatch and being forced straight down the blower hole into the engine bay. Then, my flywheel is catching that water and shooting it straight up into the carb then my boat is backing down from "on plane" throttle to an idle and eventually dieing.
Right now, the previous owner had that hose capped off, but isn't it supposed to shoot water out (on both my 1997 Seadoo GSI and 2001 GTX jet ski's, this shoots water out the back next to the jet pump).
Should I cap it off, or extend the hose further back out the rear of the hatch so it is out of the way of my engine so I can FINALLY run in the river without having to slow down and dry the motor every 20 minutes!!!!!
