Water getting in cylinders

I have a 2000 seadoo rx bombardier millenium edition jet ski. I took it to the lake this weekend and it started taking on water really bad. It went into limp mode and I towed it back to shore and drained the water out and put oil in it and it drove fine. When I got home I pulled the spark plugs out and cranked it and water just shot out. Could it be possible my cooling system is getting water in the cylinders somehow. Has anyone else had this problem? Also it won't crank when I put the plugs back in. Can anyone help

Did you run it on a hose at all? Often people don't know that if you don't follow the proper order, it will force water into the engine.

Engine ON, water ON, water OFF, engine off.

If that's not the case, remove plugs, keep cranking until all water is cleared.
Get it running and use it asap to cook the water off/out and prevent rust. I often use wd40 after water ingestion.

Yeah I dint know the hose procedure but I read the manual and got it figured out. The problem ive been having is it's just dumping water out the bottom of the engine into the engine compartment. The only way I am gonna be able to see wats goin on is pull the engine...
