Hey guys back again,,lol finished putting the top end back together on my ski today,, was going to start it to check for any leaks,,, hit the starter switch,,,dead battery,, my other DI did the same thing,,, they both have NEW GEL batteries,,, havnt messed with mine untill this evening putting the head back, neither battery is over two months old,,, i ran my other ski with the scanner hooked up,,,it showed the charging system operating to factory specs,,,does anyone know of a power drain on the DI's if they set for a while? any help appreciated  also been looking for a thread on replacing the actual pump in the fuel canister,,, i bought a quality pump, and filters,, im sure i can figure it out,,,looks similar to replacing the pumps in the GM fuel injected assemblies,,,, but if anyone can point me to some extra info,,,would be nice

DI's are known for draining batteries. Charge the battery and disconnect it if it's going to sit for a long time.

I've installed 2 kill switches on both my DIs and make sure I shut them off after every ride. That small drain
on the battery is a pain. I also leave them on a maintainer as well. So far so good.

got it, doowacka did a great write up,,, following his guide it was a cake walk,, i cant say enough how glad i am, to have found this forum,,, us newbies would probably just sell or scrap out our ski's if it wasnt for all the experience we can find on here, trust me i have thought about it more than a couple times since i bought these with so many unknown problems but im working them out one by one, about the only thing i havnt done is pull th engine and do a complete rebuild,,,, oh no i just jynxed myself lol oh almost forgot, the hfp pump worked flawlessly,,, i would recomend it to anyone,,so far,,,they got a great sale going on,,,,, buy one pump,,,give 5 star feedback and get a coupon 50 % off on your next pump you buy,,,,going to go ahead and get one for a spare lol and they are lifetime warrantied,,, they come with the fitting and hose already installed,,,, glad i went with them
