Edit: fixed, plugs replaced

2008 gtx 155. Has always run great, always maintained since new and then this problem out of nowhere. Has sat for 50-60 days and noticed battery was weak. Put charger on it and decided battery was old and needed to be replaced. Bought a agm Deka and it cranked up better than ever. Launched a week later, today, and it cranked perfectly and seemed to be idling ok but when I hit the throttle to take off, it started running super rough and would not plane off. Was sputtering and rpms running erratic. Occasionally it was shoot up onto a plane but then die back down from all the rough and erratic running. I idled for 5-10 min wondering if it would clear but eventually realized it wasn’t going to get better.

My first thought was, fuel related and while the ethanol fuel is 60-80 days old, I just don’t think that’s it but maybe. Second thought was, a fouled plug. I am due for a service but plugs tend to last a very long time and I don’t have more than 100 hours on these. Then I wondered if I did something when charging the battery and or replacing it. Don’t see any engine codes, where would I find a code? Nothing on my screen

Before I start chasing rabbits down a hole was hoping you might have suggestions on what to try or where to look. Thank you

Yup, plugs on these things don't ever seem to wear out like in our cars, they just fail to spark under any kind of cylinder pressure

Your first port of call on a 4tec is always plugs
Carry three spare and a plug scanner easy to change on the water and quick trouble shooting that won’t ruin your day

There is no set time on how long plugs will last
They are like light bulbs work today broken tomorrow

Yeah sure seems odd that these plugs can fail so quickly. These days seems like plugs last for years and many hours but clearly not the case here
