Unknown Foam inside the strator cover Seadoo Sportster 1800

I pulled the motor and removed the front magneto stator flywheel cover . The flywheel looks good, no corrosion, but there is some type of material that looks simular to foam inside the strator cover. What is this stuff?

I don't see it listed for #20 it shows a tie wrap.
Should I replace it?

OP its a problem w/link. Look to tabs on left and go to magneto section.
Don't know why linking to other model

edited my original post.
Thread linking is taking it to a different section. Don't know why.
Look at the left side bar for magneto.
It will be a square foam piece that fits in the upper section where the cables go out.
Like insulation I guess.
