Uneven wear on carbon seal

Hello everyone, today I replaced the ball bearing and bellow assembly on my drive shaft today. I have not been having any issues with cavitation or water in the hall but figured out replace my carbon seal while I had the drive shaft out. When I looked at the old carbon seal it was a little bit more worn down on the inside top. Is it normal to have a little bit of uneven wear ??? I do sometimes in 1 -2 foot chop could it be from that or do I need to look into engine alignment.

Ball bearing? What ball bearing? Check your engine mounts and verify alignment. Good that you don't have water in the hull.
