I want to replace original, purple bumper molding on my Speedster and it seems there is not much of a choice. Either grey/silverish or black. Are there aftermarket bumpers in red or yellow ?

Rub rails?...

What your looking for is called, "rub rails" or actually, rub rail inserts. The rub rail is the metal that holds the insert.

You can take a look at this site, Taco Marine or do a google search. What you'll need to do first is look at the site on how the measurement is done. Then, look at yours and figure out which one you have, so you'll know what kind of insert you want. I did one last year for a 94 GTS but don't remember what size it was. I'm sure, not all Seadoo's have the same size rub rail anyway.

Be careful. You'll see some high dollar pricing on this stuff. Like at Taco Marine, they usually sell it in bulk. You'll see a price for like $200 or $300 bucks, but it's for a lot more than you need.

Once you have sized up what you want, you can do a google on "rub rail inserts" and search for the best prices. West Marine, which has stores everywhere, usually has many different selections to choose from.

I hope this gets you started, good luck, happy hunting........
