Hey guys,
Got a 97 SeaDoo Sportster 2 stroke and just got it in the water for the first few times this week. I am the new owner to the boat. I noticed that when I shove down on the throttle the boat will no really lift up out of the water and take off. It seems as though it just stays in a lower gear so to speak. If I slowly move the throttle stick up and really give it time to get going then about 90% of the time it will lift up in the front end and take off at full speed.
Just would like to know if anyone has any info or ideas. PLEASE would appreciate the help. It will get plane then will not continue pickup with speed. The revs are up but the boat is not as responsive to punching the throttle down. Like I said at times it will go when going about it slowly, but either way it should not do this and I would like to punch it down. Any help on this guys?
Thanks!
