Currently using a borrowed triton lxt 2009 alum trailer with straight cross bars, leaf spring, 12 inches tires and bunks that are a little high but not grossly given clearance needed for vee bottom of 2008 gtx 155. I am not thrilled with this trailer, find that I need to back very deep, both front and rear tires of veh are in the water. I don't have room for a longer tongue trailer. I've seen trailers w cross members that are more vee shaped to allow the ski to sit lower. Since I am new to this, thought it would be good to get ur advice on what brand and style trailer. I don't expect to put a lot of miles on the trailer, never going more than 2-3 hrs twice a year. Will do some but little saltwater riding.

Suggestions?

BOTH front and rear tires of the tow vehicle are in the water? I would suggest this is more of an issue with the launch than the trailer.

I think this trailer is fine - certainly the aluminum is a bonus in terms of saltwater.

The only possibility is finding another brand (ezloader etc) that has a longer tongue on it. I am sure you'd be able to work out a swap with someone else as
a Triton is a pretty good trailer.

A longer tongue is possible. They make them so they fold over when not towing. You can have it modified.

shorelandr and karavan make trailers with curved xbars to allow the pwc to sit lower but need to find a aluminum or galvanized one for salt water. i have a 2015 gti 130 on a 99 karavan and my rear tires on my tow vehicle barely hit the water.
triton also makes a aluminum trailer with curved x bars as well as karavan and shorelandr

The noes style Continental trailers are nice.
