HI Everyone,

I have a few questions about the Seadoo 1995 Speedter and also the 1998 18 foot Challenger Trailers.

I need to know what the TARE and GVM and Agregate weight for both trailers are for registration purposes. It is not stamped on the trailers anywhere?

can anyone please help

Taa

HI Eveyone, no repsonse yet.

Id be very happy if someone could help.

BOth trailers are stock standard ANd i need the TARE and AVM information for :

1995 SPeedster - Seadoo stock trailer

1999 Challenger 1800 - Seadoo Stock Trailer

many thanks

Don't know how is there, but here, can go to DMV, with couple "metal" receipts, and say its "home-build".
With your trailers not stamped, maybe throw quart of paint, clean them up, and give it a shot. Also, can go by weight rating on tires/wheels???

THanks TImmy but in aus we need the actual information.

If Anyone could please take a photo of there compliance plate this would be all the information i need.

Really would be a great help.

Please please please

GWV and TARE

ALL that info should be stamped by the wench neck..Or the last registered owner would have that info on his/hers registration when turned over to you.

Hope that helps

THanks for that,

Unfortuantely the previous owner cant be located as i have imported these boats From California to australia through a repo company.

There is a stamped plate on the trailer hitch but makes no mention of the info.

starting to get pretty desperate on this one

If I remember I'll look at the cert plate on my '96 challenger's trailer tonight... it is the same trailer as used for the speedster.

It did not have an unladen weight listed, so we just guessed and put 500 lbs. The GVWR is on there, it was about 2500 lbs, but again I'll try to look tonight.

i will get the info for you when i get home, good fun trying to register trailor here in Oz eh. i ended up rebuilding trailor as dual axle as we need to add brakes here, so just added second axle!!!

Sorry for the delay...

For the Challenger 14.5's trailer, which should be the same as the speedster 14.5's trailer:

The GVWR and GAWR are the same, both are 1495 lbs.
The Carrying Capacity is listed as 1200 lbs.

If I could apply simple math, I would say that the trailer is 295 lbs.
But I'm pretty sure it is more than that, I'd stick with about 500 lbs empty weight
