Trailer/Bunk Measurements for 95 HX

Can someone with an HX please tell me the bunk measurements and angle that they keep their bunks at? I've adjusted these bunks 5 times and the ski still seems to always tip after hitting a light bump (it doesn't fall or anything, it just winds up slanting sideways and its annoying).

I guess what I'm asking is, what is the distance from the inside of your port bunk to the inside of your starboard bunk? and are the front and back of the bunks the same distance?

Considering there are angled and flat spots on the rear section of the HX, I have my bunks at a very slight angle, not flat, but not at like 270* and 45*.

Let me guess......you don't use a strap on the rear of your ski?

When I pull it out of my driveway, and to the back of my house to flush it out, nope.. no strap..

when I get to the $hitty pot-holed boat ramp, I take the strap off, when I back the trailer up or down the ramp, and I hit a tiny bump, it slides down a bit.

I just know they cant be the right measurements, and now that ive sold my spx and other trailer, not as simple to keep taking the ski off the trailer to adjust it, or make the adjustments at the boat ramp when the ski is in the water and the trailer is backed in. they recently banned any beaching or anchoring of any skis or boats by me and you can only LEAVE the ski at the ramp itself, which is busy. so, all im asking is does the manufacturer have recommended trailer bunk measurements.

Angle them the same angle as your chines and space them so they are just barely outside your chines.

I'll try and measure mine. But the issue is the width of the hull and the length/shape.

Ok cool. No rush . Just got all the coupler parts today so I'll be doing the driveshaft this weekend. Then I want to set the trailer up the right way

Ok, so this isn't measurements, it's pics. That is better in my mind. You can see I basically rest on the chines in the front and down on the under side of the hull. The rear is kinda "locked in". When I leave the ramp down the shore and head to my parents place I don't strap the backs down, it's about 10 blocks away and has some bumps along the route. The HX and XP are just like I left them. This set up does look weird but it works for me. So, I would position close to this and then loosen the hardware and pivot the bunks until you mimic this set up. My single is set up the same way and I can load my XP on that without changing anything.

You can see it basically runs the entire length kinda.
