Towing - Which Hose?

I'm headed to Shasta in a few weeks for the first big week of boating in this boat. On the off chance I have a problem, I would like to know which hose to pull and pinch off. Can someone help me out?

Thanks,

Kyle

It's a 1995 Sportster and I'm assuming it's the hose that plugs onto the hose bib from the pump. If I'm standing in the boat, it's on the right and above the pump hump in the boat.

I don't recall off the top of my head where that hose goes onto the motor, but that makes the most sense to me.

Thanks,

Kyle

This is a popular question here recently it seems. You want to pinch the hose coming from the pump. Easiest way to do it in my opinion if you don't have a pincher is too pull the hose and plug it with a bolt or crimp it with a pair of vise grips. Towing the boat no more than 15 mph is a safe bet also and usually doesn't require you to pinch the hose.

I know, which is why I figured I should know. I'm trying to get out of the habit of piggybacking my questions on other people's threads.

Thanks for confirming my thought. Hopefully I won't need to deal with this!

Thanks,

KW
