Towing a Challenger with a Wrangler?

My Jeep Liberty just got totalled. It pulled my Challenger just fine. Have an option on a Wrangler now. Any of you tow your boats with a Wrangler? If so, any feedback?

My guess is that the Challenger (single engine) weighs in around 1,200 lbs??

I tow my ski's with an 08 Wrangler all the time, the heaviest being a 96GTI, ski and trailer probably weighs around 750-800 lbs, I have not had a problem. I fact I can't hardly tell the difference, according to the owner's manual you can tow 1500 lbs. without modifications.

morning all, and yes, the wrangler will get the job done, and will also get u in and out the shady boat ramps, i was goind to send u something from official website from chrysler/dodge/jeep, but lou already has, if u guys have problems with them wranglers, let me know, ive worked for chrysler (tech) since 1979.

I used to tow my 96 Challenger with a Subaru Imprezza......you should be fine.

we towed our 4000 pound bow rider with a 2.5l 4 cyl cj 7. it wasn't a fun trip but it did it lol. had to drop it into low range to pull it up out of the water. so i see a challenger as on problem.
