My Sportster was clocked via GPS at 50 mph with two people. I recently had the wear rings replaced. Nice new wear rings help alot with getting up on plane and top speed.

Like Bob Dole would say..."It depends...":rofl::rofl:

on...how big the 2 people are..:reddevil:

Variables...

Details,Details,Details

Ok

me 225
wife 115
dog 30

Give it to me

There are so many variables in how fast your boat will run.

I have the 97 model Challenger with the 787cc engine. But, I also have manual, variable trim system. So, I can adjust the latitude of the boat as it's running through the water, ensuring I have the least amount of drag created by my hull. My boat, alone can hit upwards of 45 mph. So, if your alone in your boat, 4-TEC engine, running well, I don't see why you can't hit speeds in excess of 50.

What do you see now on the dream-o-meter? The center of gravity is'nt too kind to these things either. With the motor, driver and passangers sitting near the rear, with the motor, can make if tough to plane out n.

If you have pour performance, the nozzle, impeller and wearing ring would be the first things I'd be looking at..........
