Also, thoughts on what ratio should be run for my break-in period? For how long? Can I go full-throttle and rip the hell out of this thing immediately?

Check with engine builder but this may help

Well that seems easy.. Lol.. Now since that line has to be there anyways for the RV.. How often does that tank have to be filled, typically?

It doesn't since it bathes the gear.
Consumption occurs through leaky crank seals or oil leaking from line or tank.

That definitely makes measuring easy especially with odd number of gallons pumped.
Just add oil to right level.
Better than other types of measuring cups I've seen.

Ingenuous!

Like I said, so easy a caveman can do it! My brother in law turned me on to that, it truly is effortless with that bottle. I used to use a ratio-rite cup for my 2 stroke trikes and that was always a PITA.

Wow, I appreciate all the time and input everybody! Being new to this ski-world, I have literally dived into this thing head first. Heck, this is the first engine I've ever had a change to kind of "rebuild". The whole experience is a lesson learned, for sure. 1) Bring my compression gauge when buying a ski.. 2) Water-test the ski before buying it! Oh well, After all is said and done, I'll have probably 1600 bucks into this thing, with trailer, and hopefully a ski I can enjoy for a few more years!

Oh, this is only the first sip of it, you'll be a full blown Dooaholic in no time! This is school money, you paid your dues, learned your lessons and the next ski you buy, your well educated.

I trust you have the service manual for putting it back together with all the torque ratings?

Well, I downloaded one, but yes. Haha. I should make sure my torque wrench is calibrated.. Been a while since I've used it.
