Been having this issue with my ski for 2 seasons now..i start the ski idle then when i go to get on plane it just has no power and then when its on plane it on goes to about 5-5500 RPM if i hold it wide open long enough ill feel it surge to 7200 like it supposed to. As soon as i go back to idle it does it all over again...it used to only do this when i t was cold but now its doing it all the time. Seems like its going in and out of Learning mode but the display doesn't say anything? could it be too much oil and the rods are fighting the extra oil? any advice is appreciated! Thanks!!

it doesn't have anything to do with that sorta issue...i sounds like its going in and out of learning mode with out it showing up on the display. there could be too much oil but it would constantly effect it... but sometimes it runs like a raped ape and others it doesn't...basically it has no power out of the hole and bogs at like 5000 RPM but once on plane for a minute or so you hear is studer as it spikes to 7200 RPM like it should.

Check you super charger to throttle body hose clamps or hose for cracks. Sounds like a boost leak.

Have you replaced the plugs and checked the oil level while the engine is hot?? Sounds like you have a fouled plug that is kicking in and out.

i pulled the plugs yesterday and it looks as if cylinder #3 is running leaner then the other 2. So i checked the spray pattern of the injectors and they are fine. I will put a new set of plugs in it and see if that helps. Also, how long are you supposed to run it before you check the oil? My dipstick read half full when it was cold but when i started it and reved it a alittle my low oil light started to go off...
