Thanks for your advice.
Ok I went and checked the neutral safety switch but don't know what I am suppose to see (i'm really a new jack). I saw the switch and a screw that held it in place but couldn't remove the screw. Explain what i'm suppose to check for.
I spoke to the guy I purchesd the boat from and he told me that he did some type of converstion that eliminated the oil pump now you are suppose to mix the oil with the gas. Do you know about this. I also noticed that the oil tank was removed but the hose lines where still attached to somewhere under the engine. What should I do about this.
I opened the fuse box and noticed a 20 amp fuse blown out. I replaced the fuse and heard a pump (suctioning or maybe blowing sound). Also it is always on, looks like it direct but there are no connection to the battery. I left the fuse out.
My original problem with my boat was that it didn't run over 15 mph. Now i see alot of other possible problems.
Please help me I would love to enjoy this boat with my family.
If at all possible maybe you can give me at call 1(347)284-4468 I'm in NYC.

This is a forum, where you post questions and get advice to help out. The small switch in the controls is suppose to pop up and down, it's spring loaded. It might be stuck in the down position which would not let the seadoo go fast as it thinks it's in netural and it is a safety switch so it won't over rev in netural. When you put it in forward the switch allows the engine to have full rpms. Spray it with some PB Blaster to loosen it up, so it works. Running pre-mix fuel is not using the injector pump. Be sure the oil pump has a block off ant the shaft behind it is out of the engine. The tank should be left in place so it can lube the rotary shaft in the bottom of the engine. That's what those 2 hoses are for. 1 is for the oil going into the shaft, and the other is the return vent hose. Both of the lines should be attached to the injector tank that holds the same injector oil...which is not used now as it is pre-mixed and not oil injected any more. The correct ratio is 40:1 on the premix gas oil ratio. The 20 amp fuse might be te bilge pump. Is the switch on or is the pump running contuniously? You might want to join as a "Premium Member" and get a seadoo manual from our library, to help you better understand the seadoo better. There is lots of information in the shop manual. Click on the "Manual" link at the top of the page for more information.
