Is it necessary after disassembling/assembling an engine to perfrom a Static Timing Check and/or Dynamic Timing Check, or simply align both of the timing marks on the Stator Plate?

On your engine... line up the marks, and start it. If you have a light... then you can check it later.

From your reply I can presume that all I should do is line up the timing marks on my stator, yes?

If that is the case, then why go through the hassle of finding the timing mark on the flywheel, attaching the timing marker, then strobe it?

I am just curious.

You use the light to verify things.

If all the parts came are your original parts... then they will go on the same way they came off without an issue.
