The throttle cable on my 2005 GTX is the original. Is this a cable that I should start thinking about replacing before I do have a problem? I have replaced the steering cable and reverse cable in the past. Your input would be appreciated!

Is your ski rusty in regards to other metal
Components? Or are you anal like me and keep it VERY nice.

If it is rusty it couldn't hurt. If it is clean and the throttle operates smoothly, then I wouldn't replace it yet.

Your 2005 GTX never had a throttle cable issue. It was the steering cable that gave everyone problems.

The ski has no sign of rust so perhaps I will leave it as is. Like I said the only cables that have been replaced due to failure have been the steering and reverse cable.
