I was out in the water tonight and the boat was working good. Just as I was about to pull up to put it on the trailer, I lost all throttle. The forward, reverse stick works because you can still hear the water swooshing around underneath, but when I went to give it some throttle the stick just moved and didnt work. There was no increase in speed or nothing. Would it just be a case of a broken throttle cable?? Or loose?

What year and model boat? Just look at the linkage and see if it moves when you move the stick. If not, you may have a broken throttle cable.
