This is correct sequence for the carbon seal hat?

Putting it all back together,, I am fairly certain this is correct, the big o ring on the driveshaft holds the hat aft against the carbon seal. If Imlet it go and tighten the clamps....should be good?

I replaced mine in the Spring and it looks correct. A couple of comments though. If you are easily pulling the hat back with one hand the rubber bellows. might be compressed and not applying enough pressure on the carbon seal/hat interface. If you have no water leaks and you don't get cavitation on hard acceleration you are probably ok. Also the rubber o-ring is probably original. It has been updated with a metal c-clip. If that o-ring lets go while your riding you will take on a lot of water. My o-ring looked fine but the kit I bought had the c-clip and I replaced all parts.
 
I was working hard To compress the boot. I will look into getting a circlip
Can the circlip be installed with everything assembled? Cut the o ring off and pop the clip on?
