The annoying reminder beep that your lanyard is still attached...

I recently sold a GTX 155 that had that annoying chirp chirp that repeated itself every 10 seconds or so when the engine was turned off but the lanyard was still attached.

I never looked into see if there was a way to turn that reminder off....

Is there ?

Once the lanyard is on the DESS, it powers up the MPEM, (and other things such as the dash).

MPEMs, as you know, are pretty sensitive. So, for that reason alone the lanyard anytime my ski isn't running.
