Just wanted to thank you for all your help I have used alot of your advise and thanks for not flaming me like some people would. It is greatly appreiciated (sp?) I have another question. 94 xp with dual square pump carbs. I checked hose routing and it is fine. Another guy on this board said he had the same issue because of low pop off pressure? I replace the spring with the same one and believe it was the stiffest, so wouldn't that be the highest pop off? I don't think it is getting fuel because it will run on brake clean and once it runs for a few seconds I can keep it running but not idling. Now the buzzer is going off so it is probably gettin hot. I need a break anyways.

With the carbs... you can't guess, and you can't just replace the springs. You have to check the pop-off. The carbs have to come off, and it needs checked. When I clean/rebuild a set of carbs... I check the pop-off, even if I didn't change the springs/needles/seats. That way... I know I'm at spec, and they will work when they go back on.

Your pop-off should be 16-21 psi. If you put the heavy springs in... you will be well into the 40 psi range. That could be your problem. It just can't draw fuel once it starts.
