Hi folks, New to this. I just bought two Skis. A 2001 GTI and a 1998 GTI. I thought I'd try it as a hobby and what better way to learn than on the oldie but goodies.
I have been doing checks on both PWCs, and everything seems great except I can't see a tell/tale on the 2001. I did find what looks like a check valve on the port side near the middle right under the rub rail, but the hose is cut. (6mm) I can't really feel my way around in the stern of the hull because of the vent hose assembly being in the way. AT least the 98' is much easier to navigate. on both Skis I found the vent valve ports for the fuel and oil on the other side, inside the storage area. Water seems to be flowing through the exhaust manifold and motor, but I don't like not having the tell/tale. Should I just connect a tee off of the hose on the back of the exhaust manifold and connect it to that check valve I found?
