I have a 96 xp and a 95 kawasaki 750ss

I am considering converting both to premix

I have read how to do it but...

If the seadoo has synthetic in it and I leave synthetic in the tank for the rave valve can I use mineral oil for the pre mix????

I can get xp-s mineral oil for $22 a gallon and the synthetic for $50 a gallon

my kids race motocross and we premix oil all the time and I have used both synthetic and non-synthetic like ams oil and klotz and suzuki oil.

will I have any problems If I do it this way?

we use 40:1 in the bikes and I read people using that in their seadoos

thanks for the help

Well first rave valves don't use any oil. If you are talking about the rotary valve, sometimes the seals seep oil into the combustion chamber, so you never should mix synthetic and mineral. If you have never run mineral, then you shouldn't start now. Keep to what you have always used in the seadoo whether it was mineral or synthetic... I 'm not sure about the Kawasaki. The correct for the seadoo is 40:1.

oops

rotary valves

ok
can I use amsoil synthetic instead of the xps synthetic????
can they be mixed??
I was told by a local shop I could
just making sure

I don't ever mix oils. I have always stuck to one brand. MFG's use different additives. I'm not saying you can't, but I never do, and have never had problems either.
