Switching to Premix How is the right way?

I have a 96 GTX and im Switching to premix after losing compression in one cylinder because oil pump failed. What is the right way to do this? I have ordered a block off plate.

mix 40:1. 5 gal equal 16oz API-TC oil only

YES....


BUT, just to clarify....


You need to leave the oil tank in the hull, and hooked to the center section of the engine. The Rotary valve gears still need an oil supply.
