Swap 2002 di guts into 02 4tec hull

I have a 2002 gtx di that has a bad hull (oxidize, beach rash, and scratches). I found a 2002 gtx 4tec hull in great shape. I need to do a full rebuild on mine, so gutting it is not a problem.

How much do I need to gut? Will the ride shoe and water box stuff work? Too much pain, and find a nicer di hull?

Too much of a pain as the engine mounts are totally different as is the exhaust

definitely agree that another DI hull is the way to go. Once you find one it should be darn cheap and you will likely end up with some spare parts.

Motor mounts are not in the same position. This is more trouble than it's worth. I have a nice 02 GTX DI hull that I'd sell cheap or trade for a 00 GTX hull which is what I'm looking for but I'm 5 hours from Pitt.

Hmm... I know of a 00 ski for sale. It is a blue di. What would you want for the di hull. I will reach out and find out what he wants for the ski and or empty hull. I know the engine is shot, but don't remember why.
