Suwanee River Anyone ?

I've been poking around the Florida Maps for some roadtrip possibilities.

The Suwanee looks like a nice place to ride, 4 hours for me by car, and not TOO far from the northern, central people.

Anybody have experience with this river.

Anybody interested in a road trip ?

I'm thinking mid January maybe.

update.....

Matt Braley and I have scheduled the date for Sunday Feb 16th.... The ramp will be in or near Old Town, Florida.

as of right now 5 ski's committed, this will be a day ride not an overnight trip, although that might change for one or more of us if we decide we'd rather drive saturday afternoon and stay saturday night, ride, then return home sunday night.

times might change but right now the penciled in plans would be to ride late AM, return for refuel, then another early afternoon run, heading back to ramp and driving home with empty gas tanks.... 9 hours driving for 5 hours of riding !
