Hi, the shaft is seized to the impellar, I pulled hard for a good while but can not get the pump off. I was thinking of tying the pump off and pulling it with a truck but I don't want to break anything, any other ideas?

No, I've never removed the shaft before, do I just have to remove the c clip? 20200718_181942.jpeg

Thanks, shafts pretty rusted, any tips for getting it to move back, I tried a small hammer with no luck but I didn't go at it for to long.

I am guessing you dont grease the driveshaft very often. Working it back and forth might get it loose eventually. You better have some patience. I have tried it a few times. Once the shaft will move just the slightest, you keep going back and forth. Keep using the WD-40 to wash away residue.

PB Blaster works better than WD-40. But yes if it was clean and greased it would slide right off.

I presume since there is no bilge pump, that it is a `97 model? Seems to be a lot of those showing up lately.

Muratic acid will dissolve the rust almost immediately But if you dont wash it out really well everything inside the hull will be rusted.
