Stripped m30 block plug

I would take a slightly larger bit and pound it in there and try and turn it out maybe heat the metal around it and try and work it out, or maybe an easy out bit if you have one.

This happens to me all the time. The reason this happens is that that yellow 3M loctite they use on these is tenacious as hell.

Here is the best way to get these stripped ones out, really easy:

- Take a sharp large chisel, face it straight down radiating out from the center, and pound a groove along one edge.
- Use a propane torch to heat up the plug pretty hot (this breaks the bond of that yellow sh!t)
- Now take a dull chisel (NOT SHARP!), and knock it at an angle to unscrew the plug.

Using this method works great.

NOTE: in the future, NEVER try to use a lot of force to remove these with the torx bit!. If it wont budge with reasonable force, stop, and use the propane torch to heat the plug up first to break the bond of the 3M adhesive.
