Ok so I fixed my bogging/stalling issue from idle to going full throttle on my 97 GTX. I ordered new black springs and my pop off went from 35 to 30. Set low speed needles to 1 turn out, H to 0 on MAG carb and 1/2 on PTO. Everything feels more crisp and no longer stalling when I punch it from a dead stop. Feels a little more snappy out of the hole. Still not getting the speed or RPMs i should be getting. Before I was getting 6k RPMs. Now I am getting 6400-6500 but maxing out at 49MPH GPS. Before I would only hit 45MPH.

I would check the rectifier, water control valve, and clean the raves. To test rectifier rev ski to 5500 rpm, the voltage at the battery should be between 13.5 and 14.5, if not rectifier is bad. Check the water valve for corrosion or rust.

yup already checked voltage. It is at 13.9v when I rev it. Brand new battery. WCV was just replaced last week because the old one was rusted and not functioning.

You could check for any exhaust leaks, if you spray fogging oil into the carbs it can help to see if there is a leak.
