Tried 3 different stator on my 94 GTS 587. Tried coil and plug wires from my Yamaha. Bought a new rev limiter (cheap). I can touch the spark plug tip while cranking and feel a very very weak voltage. What can I try next?

Can you confirm the magnets are still in the flywheel? Have you checked your tether and kill switches to make sure there functioning correctly?

My SPI will give me a no spark when I put the ignition cap on the switch sometimes. I have to take it off and put it back on and that is a 1996 with no DESS. It fires right up when it wouldn't even try before removing and replacing the cap.

I am laughing my butt off right now. So happy to help someone. LOL Good Stuff !! Don't ask me why it does that though. It's only a cottonpickin contact switch and if it turns over it should run... right??
